Lowery’s Garage offers honest, quality auto repair. Our technicians are ASE Certified with over 70 years combined experience. Our goal is to provide a dealership quality service experience at an affordable price. Many people are wary of taking their car in for service due to past bad experiences but we want to change that. We want people to know they can find an honest mechanic in Phoenix.

Thoroughly inspecting every vehicle before making any repair recommendations enables us to work with each customer to create a plan for service that is budget friendly and keeps them safely driving down the road. We never try to sell services our customers don’t need. Our motto says it all “We Only Fix What’s Broke!”

How it started…

John Lowery has been a car nut since childhood who dreamed of some day owning his own garage. He spent 28 years honing his skills as an Automotive Technician and Service Advisor at a local Cadillac dealership but the dream was always there. For years family and friends encouraged John to open his own shop where they could all bring their vehicles to a mechanic they knew and trusted. After much persuading and possible prodding from his wife, John took the big leap and opened Lowery’s Garage in 2015. Our goal was to create a neighborhood garage where people could bring their vehicles, get to know us, and become part of our extended family.

Our Philosophy…

Our goal at Lowery’s Garage is to provide the highest quality, most honest service possible at a fair price. John’s philosophy about running the business is “shear the sheep, don’t slaughter the sheep.” (Not that we think of our customers as sheep and yeah, he says stuff like that) The idea to us is simple… treat our customers with respect, fix what needs to be fixed, don’t try to sell them things they don’t need and they’ll come back. When John was asked what he wanted the Lowery’s Garage logo to look like, he said he wanted it to remind people of the garage in Mayberry. We want our customers to feel like friends and family because that’s how we feel about them.

Only place I’ll bring my car. I’ve never had such a positive experience… I went to another garage who initially told me I needed new brakes. After bringing my car here, I found an honest person. All it was a piece of plastic wedged in between my brake pads… so instead of the $1000 bill the other garage quoted me, I walked out paying nothing. That alone earned my loyalty, every other experience has been quick, seamless and real person pricing. I highly recommend if you’re looking for honesty and high quality work.

Very impressed with the knowledge they had of my vehicle and the service I received. They explained to me what they did and showed me the parts that they replaced. They were finished within the time line they gave me and were very professional. I will definitely make Lowery’s my repair shop from now on.

From start to finish these guys were great. It was my first time in & they scheduled me quickly & got my repair done fast too. They were honest & only did what was needed (no attempted upselling) even told me something I was considering having done didn’t need it yet. I’d highly recommend Lowery’s!

Who smiles when they leave a mechanic? I have taken my car to Lowery’s two times now and both times I left with a smile on my face. I take my car in for routine work at other garages and dealerships, I usually am met with a scroll of what needs to be done to my vehicle, some true some false. At Lowery’s, I am met with a refreshing dose of honesty and an oil change!
